What a week...

Hello :)
Since my last blog a few weeks back, once again things have been happening!
Firstly, there was the second Open Mic event at The Three Horseshoes, West Bromwich. Another fantastic night of live music by local musicians, and I got the chance to play again. I performed a few songs and also got to perform a duet with Andy Webster (from Brains for Breakfast). A brilliant night that is only getting better as it goes along! Next one is 10th October, with a charity event Sunday 15th also at The Three Horseshoes...I'll be playing at both, with some very talented people :)

Also, this week (Tuesday 19th September 2017) I graduated from university! Three years at the University of Wolverhampton studying Music Tech and Popular Music has come to an end, with the graduation ceremony taking place at the Wolverhampton Grand Theatre. I have had a brilliant three years learning, meeting wonderful musicians and making great friends who I hope to keep for a long time. It was a bittersweet ending though, seeing all the memories we've had as a group and thinking about how most of us will be going separate ways in life. I'm so proud of us all for getting to this stage, managing to complete all the assignments and graduating together. Onwards and upwards towards the next stage of life for us all, be it masters degrees, teaching, becoming freelance musicians, etc... whatever the future holds I wish everyone the best of luck and see you all soon. Hope everyone has had a good few weeks and is looking forward to what is yet to come!
Love,
Emma :)
