A Door Left Open

Three years at university will be coming to an end on Friday 19th May 2017. My dissertation, A Door Left Open, is based on songs from film and TV. Showcasing songs from James Bond, Twilight, Supernatural, The Hobbit and more...

We have been rehearsing since October for my final project in May. The line up has changed slightly but let me introduce the band who you'll be seeing on Friday 19th May 2017. Here's me... Emma Chapman, playing keys/Piano and Vocals

This is Jarrad Lambie, originally Bass, now my drummer. He is currently in second year at uni studying Popular Music. Gigs with various bands outside of university.

The overall plan for my dissertation project is to show how music is used to convey emotion on Film and T.V. There are different themes within the set that I hope to show. I want to show how music is a vital part of the big and small screen.

This is Joe Elson is my guitarist. Also in second year at uni studying Music Tech and Popular Music.

The performance will take place in the BlackBox Theatre in the University of Wolverhampton, Walsall Campus. 7pm 19th May.

This is Dan Tween, my backing vocalist. In second year studying Popular Music at Wolverhampton University. He's also in the band Zhivago.

This is Sarah Harwood, my backing vocalist. Currently in her second year studying Popular Music at the University of Wolverhampton.

This is Harley Brown, my bassist. Currently in his second year of university studying Popular Music at Wolverhampton University.
