Hello :)
I am very excited to announce that this ('A door left open') is the name of my Dissertation performance taking place in May in the BlackBox at The University of Wolverhampton! (Walsall Campus)

My band and I have been rehearsing now for a few months and so far rehearsals have been going well, with Jarrad Lambie, Joe Elson, Matt Fellows, Sarah Harwood, and Dan Tween will be joining us soon too :)
Though it is a stressful time, I have been thoroughly enjoying rehearsals. I have learned a lot about myself, about arranging a band, my playing and I have become friends with new people too :) These guys are great!
Already this has been an experience I will never ever forget, and I hope that my band have been enjoying playing too.
I feel like this has been both a challenging and rewarding experience so far, and I encourage everyone considering performance dissertation to make sure to plan it in advance and have a clear idea as to what you want to do and who you want involved.
Other events that have been going on this week; I have been ill so a lot of time has been spent looking at arranging, organising upcoming things; such as performing at the university open day (At Wolverhampton Campus though) on 4th February, and creating ideas.
Though my time at uni is coming to an end shortly, I intend to enjoy every last minute of it, including making the most out of rehearsals and spending time with the lovely people in my university.
Love,
Emma :)
